Description
A campaign stump speech is delivered by President Truman for candidate Adlai Stevenson in October, 1952. This whistle-stop speech was made at the station platforms in New Haven, CT. and the photographer just happened to be there as the crowd gathered that day. The President can be seen above the man with the Stetson. Note the press climbing above for shots from the parked equipment, the Secret Service man is walking away.
