Description
The Juniata Shops switch engine, or "shifter" in Pennsylvania RR parlance, makes a shove with a gondola full of parts off the turntable outside the shops, in this June 1953 view. Juniata Shops were a part of the PRR Altoona Shops and Yard, and this similar view exists today; though the "tank" engine is long gone to history, as is the PRR. *Note, there are companion views available to complete a set if interested, see portfolio*
